Great game - lots of fun activities to keep my son going back to it.

If you've never played Kirby Super Star on the SNES, then by all means buy this game. A Kirby game is always a safe bet for family-friendly entertainment. If you have, don't expect to be wowed by the extra modes where you play as the enemy or helpers instead of Kirby, with no new levels added. Nintendo's pink puffball returns in a DS port of the Super Nintendo original, with a few new features and games added. It's a great translation of a great game, yet the tacked on extra modes and touch screen features felt gimmicky. Portability is a plus, but I would have rather seen Kirby Super Star released on Virtual Console for $8 instead. For a brand new Kirby experience on the DS, Kirby Squeak Squad is a better choice.
This game is really a blast from the past. It plays just like the old Kirby Super Star on SNES, a game I hunted down a SNES for just to play again after beating it several times at my friend's house. It never gets old.There's so much to do and so much replayability just because there are so many games in one. For fans of old-school platforming and a jolly good time, I'd highly suggest you pick this one up for your DS collection.
This was a gift for my granddaughter. She played this constantly the week we were on vacation.
